Amanda's Pilates journey began at the young age of 17.
Due to her rigorous ballet regimen, she developed scoliosis brought on by severe muscular imbalances. Her doctor recommended Pilates and she has been practicing it ever since.
Amanda has been certified in Reformer since 2007 and obtained her full certification in 2010.
Amanda believes in the power of Pilates - Pilates has the power to make a good athlete great and the ability to help an elderly person walk up and down the stairs safely and easily; therefore, giving him/her the power of independence. Whether you are rehabilitating from injury, cross training for your sport, or simply want a fun and unique way to sweat, Pilates is for you!
Amanda no longer has scoliosis.

When she is not teaching, Emily is studying poetry in Denver, planning her next vacation, and trying to see the world in a grain of sand.

She spent her time in law school working in the domestic violence court system. She is a McNair scholar and former guest lecturer to accredited to universities. So why Stott Pilates? After two back to back pregnancies and the inability to walk, a physical therapist and stott certified instructor had her mobile within a week where doctors and chiropractors failed. Janelle is our stealthy behind the scenes savior. You won't see her working at a desk or teaching a class; but if you look around 9th and 9th and Maven West, the magical spirit of Janelle is everywhere. Those brilliant Chalk Murals? A hard copy handout that looks professional? Almost anything aesthetically pleasing? .... Yup, that's Janelle. She's so artistically inclined, her homes' interior design was featured by City Home Collective. She has a better Shoe game than Anna Wintour. You will probably ask her who styles her hair. However, that's not the only gift Janelle possesses! She is a statistical whiz kid. She's pulling and analyzing reports, data, and all the things that keep 9th and 9th the smooth running sparkly machine it is! Janelle also owns a Dinosaur, has two extremely athletically gifted children, and one very entertaining husband. She is a professional teenage chauffeur to boot.
